About My Work
With over 20 years combined experience in Commercial Real Estate, Local Businesses and Government, and a background in Community Development, I am well-versed in new developments, zoning and permitted uses. An entrepreneur at heart, I have worked for the City of San Francisco developing commercial corridors, served as the Executive Director of a non-profit small business incubator, started a company right out of college, and also owned a retail store in Manhattan.
I was recruited by the SF Chronicle to join a diverse group of passionate San Franciscans, and together we proposed solutions to our city's biggest challenges.
I worked as the Executive Director for Urban Solutions, a nonprofit based in San Francisco, where we were entrepreneurs' champions: securing leases and loans for small businesses to cultivate commercial corridors.
Local Organizational Involvement
I serve on the boards of several local non-profits: the Housing Action Coalition, which advocates for more housing and development through the Bay Area, Kultivate Labs a non-profit arts lab and business accelerator, and the Alamo Square Neighborhood Association. I am also a member of Commercial Real Estate Women, and the San Francisco Apartment Association. On occasion, you’ll find me singing with my cover band!
